We only collect personal information when we genuinely need it to provide the Service — mainly your email (to run your account) and the project data you enter (panel lists, stock sheets, material names). We share data only with the providers who help us run Offcut — our authentication and database provider, and our payment processor for paid subscriptions. They only receive what they need to do their job, and can't use it for their own purposes. If you're on a paid plan, billing details (name, billing address, payment method) are handled directly by our payment processor; we don't store your full card number.
We keep your data only as long as your account is active, protect it with reasonable technical and organizational measures, and delete it within a reasonable period after you close your account — except where we're required to keep billing records for legal reasons.
You can ask us at any time to show you what data we hold, correct it, or delete it. You're also free to decline giving us information, though that may limit what the Service can do for you — for example, we can't save your projects without an email to attach them to.
